Orthodontics for Children
The American Dental Association and American Association of Orthodontists recommend children start seeing an orthodontist at age 7. Most children can wait until their permanent teeth are in to begin treatment; however, there are cases that need interceptive treatment. In these instances they would have short treatment at a younger age in order to prevent more extensive issues down the road.

After a thorough exam we will discuss your teen's current smile and our treatment goals. In many cases they will have the option between clear aligners and braces. We will go over treatment timeline, pros and cons of each modality, and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
